Praktiska råd

  • Vi äter inte och undviker att dricka under träningen (drick före eller efter).
  • Ät inte innan lektionen, magen behöver vila ca 2 timmar inför ett yogapass.
  • Lätt klädsel (tillåter rörelse och svett), bara fötter. Åtsittande kläder (åskådliggör den underliggande strukturen i rörelserna och hjälper din yogalärare att ge dig individuell handledning & teknik).
  • Undantag är Hathayogan där varma kläder, helst naturmaterial samt sockor behövs. Ta även med en hårdare kudde och ett örngott eller en handduk att sätta på underlaget.
  • Ta gärna med något värmande inför den avslutande avslappningen (t. ex. mera kläder, en filt eller stor handduk).
  • Respektera din kropp som behöver vila. Yoga inte om du har feber eller influensa.
  • Berätta alltid om graviditet, högt blodtryck, rygg-, nack- och knäskador m.m. åt din lärare. Lyssna på din kropp, samt rådgör med läkare vid behov.
  • Undvik starka mediciner före lektionerna.
  • Använd inte parfym på timmarna.
  • Enkla underlag finns i salen, men ta gärna med egen yogamatta/underlag.
  • Kom i god tid till salen, anmälan, betalning och liknande bör skötas före lektionen.

– med en god hållning som yttre och ett välbefinnande som inre resultat.
